The Oxford Stop the War Coalition has organised a panel discussion on 'The War on Terror' for this month to discuss the attack on civil liberties, related on-going conflicts around the globe and the prospect of action aginst Iran.
Ken Loach (film director and Palme d’Or winner at the Cannes Film Festival 2006), Lindsey German (National Convener, Stop the War Coalition), Peter Tatchell (well-known activist), Dave Hillman (National Executive Council, Palestine Solidarity Campaign) and Neil Clarke (journalist and contributor to the Guardian and other papers whose anti-war blog was voted Best UK Blog for 2007) will sit as panellists.
They will respond to questions from the floor pertaining to the War on Terror and related issues. There is no need to submit questions in advance.
The Question Time panel discussion will be Thursday, January 17th at 7:30 p.m. at the Friends Meeting House at 43 St. Giles Street, Oxford.
